MEDIA ADVISORY October 12, 2004 State to announce additional support to No. 1 Purdue Research Park Last week the Association of University Research Parks named the Purdue Research Park the best in the country for 2004. This week, the Indiana Department of Commerce is announcing efforts to further assist in the park's development and expansion. A 20-minute news conference will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 14) in the front lobby of the Purdue Technology Center, the Purdue Research Park's flagship incubator, located at 3000 Kent Ave. in West Lafayette. Speakers will include Joseph Hornett, senior vice president and treasurer for the Purdue Research Foundation; Lt. Gov. Kathy Davis; Martin C. Jischke, president of Purdue University; and Jan Mills, mayor of West Lafayette.
