Purdue Theatre scholarship fund raiser costume sale Oct. 14-15

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. –Purdue Theatre will clean its closets with a costume sale to raise money for the Dorothy Runk Mennen Theatre Scholarship Fund.

The pre-sale event for schools and community theaters is Thursday, Oct. 14, from 3-6 p.m. Cash or checks made payable to the Purdue Foundation will be accepted. A cash-only public sale will be Friday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will be held in the Trap Room on the ground floor of Stewart Center adjacent to the Purdue Theatre offices.

"All items will be priced at $25 or less, and some will be as little as $2 or $3," said Joel Ebarb, assistant professor of costume design. "This is a great opportunity for schools to add to their costume collections or for students to buy some truly unique Halloween garb."

Purdue Theatre duplicate costumes and those that are not stage worthy will be on sale.
