STOMP tickets available now

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The percussion and rhythm group STOMP will perform in Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music at 7:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 21 and 22).

Presented by Purdue Convocations, STOMP was created in 1995 by street performers Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. The eight-member ensemble creates rhythm with everyday objects such as brooms, trashcans, rubber tubing, pipes, matchbooks and water bottles.

"If rhythm is where you find it, STOMP is the Holy Grail of audio," the "Tampa Times" wrote. "The New York Times" called the ensemble "a sure-fire crowd pleaser. STOMP is banged, tapped, swished, clicked and clomped with an entrancing charm and a rock-and-roll heart."

Tickets are $21 to $40 and available at all campus box offices and Ticketmaster outlets. Campus box offices can be reached at (765) 494-3933.
