August 17, 2004 Annual plant sale to raise funds for Purdue Panhellenic AssociationWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue Panhellenic Association is sponsoring its annual plant sale fund-raiser during second week of classes, starting Monday, Aug. 30, in the North Ballroom of Purdue Memorial Union. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, the ballroom will be filled with a wide variety of houseplants, ranging in size from one-inch potted plants to 6 foot tall indoor trees. Bennett's Greenhouse, 3651 McCarty Lane, Lafayette, will provide the plants, along with pots, soil and plant care products. Proceeds from this event will be used for Panhellenic educational programming to benefit all Purdue sororities.
