July 28, 2004 Jischke to speak on Purdue construction during WBAA showWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Construction at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus will be the focal point of President Martin C. Jischke's live radio appearance on WBAA-AM920 on Wednesday (Aug. 4). During the station's "AM920 Magazine" from 2-3 p.m., Jischke will field questions from WBAA station manager Dan Skinner and the listening audience. "President Jischke will talk about the current construction boom at the university and will explain how the long-term benefits of the building projects outweigh the temporary inconvenience they may cause," Skinner said. "He will also explain how the building projects help fulfill goals of the university's strategic plan." Local listeners may call in questions at (765) 496-1999.
