Jischke to speak on Purdue's budget during WBAA show

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Building Purdue's budget in order to achieve the goals of the university's strategic plan will be the focal point of President Martin C. Jischke's live radio appearance on WBAA-AM920 on Tuesday (July 6).

During the station's "AM920 Magazine" from 2-3 p.m., Jischke will field questions from WBAA program coordinator David Bunte and the listening audience.

"President Jischke will explain the university's funding sources, some of the increasing costs of operating the university and some of the special challenges that land-grant universities face in meeting their budget needs," Bunte said.

Local listeners may call in questions at (765) 496-1999. Out-of-town listeners may call toll-free, (866) 922-2101.

The station's AM signal reaches about two-thirds of Indiana and is heard globally via the Internet.
