Media day for annual farm management tour

Media are invited to participate in an advance tour of farms included in this year's Purdue Farm Management Tour. Farm operators will give presentations and speak with reporters wanting to work on advance stories about the public tour on June 30 through July 1.

Purdue vans will leave from the Krannert Building dock at 6:30 a.m. Reporters who would like to ride in a van should call Sandy Dottle at (765) 494-4248.

WHEN: Monday, June 7

10 a.m. – Crystal Valley Dairy Farm, 13519 County Road 20, Middlebury

11 a.m. – Yoder Popcorn, 7680 W. 200 S., Topeka

11:30 a.m. – Yoder Family Farms, 5165 W. 200 S., Topeka

12:30 p.m. – Lunch on your own

1:30 p.m. – Lord's Seed, 6825 N. 375 E., Howe

2:30 p.m. – Foxwood Farms, 5405 S. State Road 3, Wolcottville

3:30 p.m. – Perkins' Twin Creek Farm, 11045 E. 425 S., Wolcottville

Maps and a description of each of the farms are available online.

WHERE: LaGrange and Elkhart Counties in northern Indiana.

WHO: Farmers from LaGrange and Elkhart County.
