March 8, 2004 Faculty and staff honorsKrista Glazewski, assistant professor of educational studies, has been selected as the recipient of the 2004 American Education Research Association's Young Researcher Award in the instructional technology special-interest group for her paper, "The Impact of Scaffolding and Student Ability in a Hypermedia Problem-Based Learning Unit." She will be recognized at the national AERA convention in San Diego in April. Glazewski joined the School of Education faculty in the education technology area in the fall of 2003. The Indiana Counseling Association recognized a Purdue faculty member, student and alumna at its annual meeting on Feb. 19. Sarah Parliament, a graduate student in mental health counseling, received the Outstanding Counseling Student Award. Jean Peterson, an associate professor of education studies was named the Outstanding Counselor Educator.
