• Wednesday, Jan. 3. 2 p.m. Interview with the President. Purdue President Martin C. Jischke's monthly radio call-in show on WBAA, AM 920.

** • Monday, Jan. 15. 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Affirming the Dream IV: A Day of Service. Volunteers will work for a variety of Greater Lafayette non-profit organizations.

• Jan. 8-Feb. 25. Purdue Galleries exhibit: "Virtual Hands: Collaborations by Lisa Lee Peterson and Skif Peterson." Stewart Center Gallery, Stewart Center. Associate Professor of Art & Design Lisa Peterson’s hand weavings, Skif Peterson’s digital prints, and the Petersons' cybernetic woven collaborations.

• Jan. 8-Feb. 25. Purdue Galleries exhibit: "Hilary Eddy Paintings from the collection of Dorothy Murphy." Ralph G. Beelke Memorial Gallery, Creative Arts Building 2. Floral "hybrid" paintings of this accomplished Purdue alumnus from the collection of a West Lafayette supporter and sponsor of Eddy.

CONFERENCES

• Friday, Jan. 5. Noon-1 p.m. "Entrepreneurs' Forum." hosted by the Office of Technology Commercialization. Room 313, Stewart Center. Monthly, hour-long seminar invites faculty, staff, students and other interested individuals to network and learn more about how to start a company. Speakers are entrepreneurs, investors or consultants who work with new business ventures, primarily in the Purdue Research Park's business incubator system.
