December 7, 2000 Purdue student robbed on campusWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Purdue University police today (12/7) are investigating a female student's report of an early morning strong-arm robbery near Knoy Hall on the campus. The woman told police she was walking between Knoy Hall and the Electrical Engineering Building at about 2:30 a.m. when two men grabbed her and demanded money. When she refused, they searched her purse, took $10 from her wallet and ran toward Northwestern Avenue. The victim, who was not injured, said her assailants were two white males, one wearing a black coat. Anyone with information on the incident should call Purdue police at 765-494-8221. Source: Sgt.
