EDITORS: This calendar lists selected Purdue events during the next four weeks. Events are free and open to the public, except where noted, and all are open to news media coverage. New or updated listings have two asterisks (**). All events in this calendar, plus many others, are listed in Purdue's online calendar.

Updated travel directions around road construction zones near campus are available on the Web.

EVENTS

• Tuesday, Dec. 5. 7 p.m.  Krannert Graduate School Info Night. Krannert Auditorium, Krannert Building. Overview of Krannert master's degree program for undergraduates, residence hall counselors, undergraduate advisers.

• Sunday, Dec. 17.  Winter Commencement. Elliott Hall of Music. Division I for the schools of agriculture, engineering, technology and veterinary medicine will be at 9:30 a.m. Division II for the schools of consumer and family sciences, education, liberal arts, management, pharmacy, nursing and health sciences and science will be at 2:30 p.m. Tickets, issued free to all ceremony participants, are required for admission.

ENTERTAINMENT

• Friday through Sunday. Dec. 8-10.  Purdue Musical Organizations Christmas Show. Elliott Hall of Music. Shows are 8 p.m. Friday; noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $23 for adults and $16 for students.

LECTURES

• Wednesday, Dec. 6 12:30 p.m.  Women's Studies Brown Bag Lecture Series. Speaker: Prof. Anne Fliotsos, Purdue Dept. of Visual and Performing Arts. Topic: "Women Directors and American Musical Theater." Stone Cellar, Room B2.

EXHIBITS

• Through Dec. 10.  Purdue Galleries exhibit: "Keeping Tradition Alive: The Political and Social Prints of Carlos Cortez." Robert L. Ringel Gallery, Purdue Memorial Union. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Through Dec. 10.  Purdue Galleries exhibit: "Modernists of Mexico." Stewart Center Gallery. Hours are Monday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Monday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Through Dec. 10.  Purdue Galleries exhibit: "Thesis Exhibitions." Ralph G. Beelke Memorial Gallery, Creative Arts Building 2.

MEETINGS

** • Saturday, Dec. 16.  Board of Trustees. Room 304 (Anniversary Drawing Room), Purdue Memorial Union.

OTHER

• Through Dec. 7.  International Dinner Series sponsored by the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. John Purdue Room in Stone Hall. Purdue seniors plan, organize and serve a four-course meal with appetizer, salad, choice of three entrees and two desserts. Reservations required. Call (765) 494-6845. Cost: $10 - $15. Coming up:
