October 13, 2000 A 'take command' approach to e-commerce to be announced Monday A high-tech company in the Purdue University Research Park has developed a way for companies to provide their own secure, e-commerce site on the World Wide Web without having to link through an Internet middleman. Details of this technology will be announced at a news conference at 10 a.m. Monday (10/16) at the Purdue Technology Center, 3000 Kent Ave. in West Lafayette. Journalists will have the opportunity to interview the company's president and investors.
