August 4, 2000 Purdue Fire Department offers free CPR classesWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue University Fire Department is sponsoring free American Heart Association CPR classes. The classes are open to campus faculty, staff and immediate family members. Classes will be conducted at the Purdue Fire Station. Classes teaching CPR on adults will be Aug. 9, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Sept. 13, 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Oct. 11, 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Two classes teaching CPR on adults and children will be held Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required two days prior to the scheduled session.
