Faculty and staff honors John Greene, professor of communications, has been selected to serve a three-year term as editor of Human Communication Research, the flagship journal of the International Communication Association. Greene's own research has been featured eight times in the journal, which is published for scholars specializing in the study of communication phenomena. Erik Props, academic advisor for the Krannert Graduate School of Management, has been selected as a 2000 National Academic Advising Association Outstanding Advisor. Props, chosen as Purdue's Outstanding Academic Advisor spring semester, is a 1992 Krannert School of Management graduate. He has been an advisor at Krannert since 1993. Props will be honored and receive a plaque at the National Academic Advising Association's conference in Orlando on Oct. 7
