April 28, 2000 Campus parking garages to get spring, summer cleanings WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University parking garages will be cleaned and re-striped during late spring and summer. Parking facilities manager Donna Kemper said some garages will be closed during cleaning; others will be cleaned at night. Schedules will be posted at garages two weeks in advance. Vehicles left in closed garages will be towed at owners' expense. The schedule: May 22-26 -- Grant and Wood Streets Parking Garage closed. May 30-June 2 -- Marsteller Street Parking Garage closed. June 5-16 -- Grant Street Parking Garage, sections closed as needed. July 17-21 -- University Street Parking Garage, north section closed at night. July 24-28 -- University Street Parking Garage, south section to be cleaned at night. Kemper also said up to half of the Northwestern Avenue Parking Garage will be closed on a rotating basis from May 30 through Aug. 11 for major repairs.
