April 14, 2000 Purdue Housing and Food Services hiring for summer WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Lafayette-area high school and college students can "cash-in" by working on campus at Purdue this summer. Purdue University Housing and Food Services is sponsoring a Student Summer Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, (4/20) on the Memorial Mall. The mall is next to Stewart Center on State Street in West Lafayette. Staff members and student employees will be recruiting students for summer service, food service, catering and clerical positions. Students can stop by, ask questions and complete an interest card. Supervisors will contact the students based on their job preferences. Free popcorn and soft drinks will be available.
