April 14, 2000 Sign up now for Purdue Summer BandWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Purdue's Summer Concert Band is looking for interested musicians to flesh out its ranks. William Kisinger, who directs three ensembles in the Purdue University Bands Department, again will serve as conductor of the group, which is slated to give an outdoor evening concert on Tuesday, July 11, at Slayter Center of Performing Arts. The band is open to musicians in the Greater Lafayette community, as well as Purdue students and staff and their families. Students can receive two hours of credit for their participation. Rehearsals will run from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Thursday, June 15. All rehearsals are held in Elliott Hall of Music, Room 15.
