Campus activities

–  The Black Voices of Inspiration will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday (4/11) in the study lounge of Hillenbrand Hall. The Black Cultural Center choral group, under the direction of Howard Lucas, will present a variety of traditional and contemporary selections. The concert is free and open to the community. Faculty and staff honors

–  C. Richard Edwards, professor of entomology, was honored as part of a team of scientists that won the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service 1999 Technology Transfer Award for a program on corn rootworm control. Others from Purdue recognized for their work on the team were Larry Bledsoe, pest management area specialist, and Corey Gerber, Extension and research associate.
