Purdue University will participate in statewide tornado drills on Monday, March 13, as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week in Indiana, March 12-18. On March 13, test drills will be held between 1:30 and 2 p.m. and 6:30 and 7 p.m. During the drills, all five warning sirens on the Purdue campus and all the other sirens in Greater Lafayette will be activated, said Tom Cooper, fire safety specialist in Purdue Safety and Security. Campus warning sirens are located in the Purdue Village and Ross-Ade Apartments, and on top of Earhart Hall, Hawkins Graduate House and Heine Pharmacy Building.
