'Faces of America' coming to Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – "Faces of America," a one-person show about multiculturalism in America, will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday (2/17), in the Elliott Hall of Music.

"Faces of America" was created by Colin Cox and Fran de Leon in response to demands for diversity workshops. After interviewing more than 60 people, they began to formulate characters for a portrayal of American society. The presentation premiered in March 1995 in Los Angeles and was featured at the 51st and 52nd Annual United Nations Day.

The presentation is sponsored by Purdue's Diversity Resource Office.
