EVENTS • Tuesday, Nov. 30. Golden Taps to honor students who have died in the preceding month. 10 p.m. Spitzer Court, Cary Quadrangle. ** • Thursday, Dec. 2. Tree raising in the Purdue Memorial Union. Noon. Union staff will transport a live Christmas tree to the Great Hall of the Union. The tree has been donated by a community member every year since 1975; this year's donors are Phyllis and Bob Gambill of West Lafayette. The tree is traditionally the largest indoor, natural tree in Indiana. ** • Saturday, Dec. 4. Breakfast With Santa. 8:30-10:30 a.m., LaPosada dining area on the ground floor of the Purdue Memorial Union. Sponsored by Purdue Student Union Board. ** • Saturday, Dec. 4. Purdue West Shopping Center "Holiday Celebration and Sale." Children and adults can take carriage rides and visit with Santa Claus from 10 a.m. until noon. The Black Voices of Inspiration, a Black Cultural Center choral ensemble, will perform from noon to 1 p.m., followed by Purdue Pep Band from 1-2 p.m. ** • Wednesday, Dec. 8.
