Campus activities "A Community Conversation on Year 2000 Conversion" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday (11/8), in Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. The Purdue University Interfraternity Council is coordinating the event so that citizens can hear directly from key service providers about the status of efforts to ensure that computers are ready for the date change at the end of the year and the work that remains to be done. The event also provides an opportunity for citizens to raise questions or concerns they may have about the Y2K computer problem and enables communities to work together to identify areas where additional preparation and planning are needed.
