October 8, 1999>/P> PMO Christmas Show tickets on saleWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Tickets for the 1999 Purdue Musical Organizations Christmas Show are now on sale. The Purdue Varsity Glee Club, Purduettes, University Choir, PMO Express, PMO Kids Choir and the Purdue Bell Choir will offer a variety of seasonal favorites to ring in the holiday season. The 66th annual Christmas Show, directed by PMO Director Brian Breed, hits the stage six times in three days in Elliott Hall of Music: Friday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. First-tier tickets are $23 for adults, $18 for students; second-tier tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for students; and third-tier tickets are $12 for all seats. The American Bus Association named the Christmas Show one of the Top 100 events in North America for 1998. In addition to the regional audience of 36,000 people who see the show live on campus each December, millions of people see it on public television stations from coast to coast. More than one million people have seen the PMO Christmas Show in Elliott Hall since its debut in 1933. This will be Breed's 11th consecutive year directing the show.
