October 8, 1999 Purdue, IU sponsoring Multicultural Job FairWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Recent and soon-to-be college graduates are encouraged to register for the Eighth Annual Indiana Multicultural Job Fair on Nov. 12 at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. The fair promotes job opportunities for historically under-represented groups in the work force, said James Megathlin, assistant director for Purdue University's Center for Career Opportunities. It allows employers to meet with a diverse pool of candidates and discuss employment opportunities in a professional setting. The Indiana Multicultural Job Fair is co-sponsored by Purdue and Indiana universities. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the 500 Ballroom of the convention center, which is next to the RCA Dome in downtown Indianapolis. Advance registration is $10 and should be sent with a computer scannable resume before Oct. 25 to: IMJF Candidate Registration, IUPUI Career Center, 801 W.
