JOURNALISTS: Here's a story idea and a list of Purdue events during the next few weeks.

Purdue Technology Center dedication planned

The second business incubator constructed within the Purdue Research Park -- the Purdue Technology Center -- will be unveiled Wednesday, Aug. 25, during an open house and dedication ceremony. Journalists are invited to gather at the facility, at 3000 Kent Avenue, by 3:30 p.m. for an opportunity to ask questions. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. Purdue dignitaries will be joined by Indiana Gov. Frank O'Bannon, several state lawmakers, and by Dinah Adkins, executive director of the National Business Incubation Association. The 60,000-square-foot center serves as a business incubator by housing very-early stage companies and providing on-site management and a full array of business planning, management and financial services.
