Purdue Alumni Association elects new president

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Thomas J. Carroll of Carmel, Ind., has begun a two-year term as president of the Purdue Alumni Association.

Carroll is a 1964 industrial management graduate and works in materials management and purchasing with Guide Corp. in Anderson. He succeeds Charles E. Boonstra, St. Joseph, Mich., as president. Boonstra, a 1944 graduate from the School of Science, will serve as the association's past president during the next two years. Boonstra is a retired physician.

Phillip A. Waid, Hilliard, Ohio, is starting a two-year term as vice president of the association. The 1968 graduate of the Schools of Engineering is an attorney in Columbus, Ohio.
