Black Cultural Center plans move to new facilityWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Black Cultural Center at Purdue University will close and move into its new building, 1100 Third St., during the coming month.The last day of business at the old facility at 315 University St. will be June 11, with most of the equipment and furniture being moved June 15. The new building will open June 21, with summer hours being 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The BCC library and computer lab will close Tuesday (6/1). The library will reopen July 6. The computer lab will reopen the week before fall semester classes start. Although the new building will be open, tours will not be available until after Aug. 1.
