Minority undergraduates to conduct summer research

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- About 40 undergraduate students from Purdue and other institutions will be conducting research on the West Lafayette campus for eight weeks starting June 7.

They will be participating in the 20th annual Minority Access to Research Careers and Access Internally for Minorities program. The program is designed to encourage students from underrepresented ethnic groups to go to graduate school and consider research careers.

Students will work under the supervision of Purdue faculty, make presentations on their research projects, and participate in a Graduate Record Examination workshop.
