May 14, 1999 This calendar lists selected Purdue events during the next five weeks. Events are free and open to the public, except where noted, and all are open to news media coverage. New or updated listings have two asterisks (**). All events in this calendar, plus many others, are listed in Purdue's on-line calendar.
EVENTS
** Tuesday-Friday, June 8-11. Home and Family Conference at Stewart Center and Purdue Memorial Union. Sponsored by Purdue Extension's Consumer and Family Sciences program. The keynote address will be delivered Thursday morning by Michelle Passoff, author of "LIGHTEN UP! Free Yourself from Clutter." There also will be seminars on personal finances, child development, gourmet gardening and an introduction to the Internet. The conference is open to the public, and the fee is $35 for the whole conference or $25 per day. Housing is available for those who require it. Early registration is encouraged.
