June 3: Farm management tour media day Innovation and tradition will be showcased at the 1999 Farm Management Tour, which will be previewed for journalists from 8 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. June 3 at the Farm Management Tour Media Day. Open to all members of the media, the tour is scheduled to visit farms in Posey, Vanderburgh and Gibson counties. Two vans will depart from Purdue on the night of June 2, providing transportation to the southern Indiana site. All others should plan to depart at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 3, from the Denny's restaurant at U.S. 41 and Interstate 64, 10 miles south of Princeton. The media tour will return to Denny's for lunch and then continue the preview. The tour is free, and journalists may join and leave it at any point. To make a lunch reservation and receive a map of the tour stops, contact Chris Sigurdson, News and Public Affairs coordinator in Purdue Agricultural Communications, (765) 494-8415; sig@ecn.purdue.edu.
