The secretary's 7 p.m. speech will focus on the food demands of a growing world population, the role of biotechnology in farming, concerns posed by concentration of agribusinesses, and how these issues will affect independent family farms. The public is invited to attend Glickman's lecture either in person at Fowler Hall in Stewart Center or via satellite at various county offices of the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service throughout Indiana.
