University Day rescheduled for April 21WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- University Day, an annual campus cleanup sponsored by Purdue Student Government, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 21. Rain forced its postponement on April 15.The event will start at 9 a.m. and continue through 4 p.m. Staff and students participate by volunteering an hour of their time to help plant flowers, spread mulch, paint fences, sweep along curbs or pick up trash. All volunteers receive a ticket for food and drinks at a celebration at 5:30 p.m. on Memorial Mall. Participants can volunteer on the day of the event by reporting to booths located around campus, including the Memorial Mall, Krannert Building, Lynn Hall, Lambert Fieldhouse and the Purdue Mall.
