'Words' is final word in Theatre's Second Season

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- "Words, Words, Words" will be presented April 22-25 in the Black Box Theatre at Purdue University, concluding Purdue Theatre's 1998-99 Second Season.

The evening features playwright Tom Stoppard's "The 15-Minute Hamlet" and selections from "All in the Timing," a series of one-act plays by David Ives. Stoppard recently won the Academy Award for work on the "Shakespeare in Love" screenplay. His full-length play, "Arcadia," will be presented as part of Purdue Theatre's 1999-2000 mainstage season.

Julia Listengarten, visiting assistant professor of theater, directs this production.

"Words, Words, Words" will be performed at 8 p.m. April 22-24 and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 25, in the Black Box Theatre, Creative Arts Building 3. All tickets are $5 at the Loeb Box Office or by calling (765) 494-3933.
