Appointments and promotions-- Jeffrey W. Love is the new associate director for corporate and foundation relations in Purdue's School of Consumer and Family Sciences. Love, formerly vice president at NBD Bank in Fort Wayne, Ind. , has 11 years of commercial banking experience. He graduated from Purdue in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in economics.
Campus activities-- Purdue seniors and alumni are invited to participate in the ninth annual Indiana Collegiate Job Fair, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 2, in the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. Purdue and Indiana universities co-sponsor the event, which will have representatives from 130 employers. Job seekers can pre-register by sending a one-page resume and $10 before March 22 to: ICJF Candidate Registration, 801 W. Michigan St., BS-2010, Indianapolis, Ind. 46202-5153. Registration the day of the event will be $20. More information is available at the Indiana Collegiate Job Fair Web site or by calling the Purdue Center for Career Opportunities, (765) 494-3981.-- Purdue's Agricultural Systems Management Club will put your lawnmower or tiller in tip-top shape for spring with the annual Lawnmower and Garden Tiller Revitalization. For a $15 fee, club members will clean your walk-behind (not riding) mower/tiller, drain and replace the fuel, change the oil, check and/or replace the spark plug, clean sponge-type air filters, and sharpen the blades. Mower pick-up and return costs an additional $5. Service order forms may be obtained by calling (765) 494-1172. Orders must be received before March 17.
