Technology students renew scholarshipsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.-- Four Purdue students have qualified to continue to receive the James and Velma Emmi Award, a $1,500 per semester award for students in the School of Technology who are studying manufacturing.The recipients are junior Tina Marie Harper of Mauckport, Ind., and sophomore Daniel Walden of Peru, Ind., both majoring in computer-integrated manufacturing technology, and junior Kevin Redinbo of Lafayette and senior Joshua Webb of West Lafayette, who are majoring in mechanical engineering technology. Initially awarded to second-semester freshmen for academic achievement, overall performance, and grade-point standing in both high school and college, the scholarship continues for up to eight semesters, provided the students maintain their high academic achievement.
