-- The Office of Human Relations and the Diversity Resource Office are local sponsors for a teleconference, "Racial Legacies and Learning: How to Talk About Race." The two-hour teleconference will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday (1/27) in Room 302, Stewart Center. Seating is limited, so people should call the Diversity Resource Office, (765) 494-7307, for reservations. -- Purdue will recognize National Girls and Women in Sport Day, Feb. 4, with a luncheon and speech by Beth A. Brooke, national director of tax consulting for Ernst & Young LLP. Brooke, a former Purdue women's basketball player, will talk about "What Sports Teach Us About Life." The Women's Resource Office is sponsoring the event at noon in the East Faculty Lounge, Purdue Memorial Union. The luncheon will cost $10, and reservations should be made by calling the Women's Resource Office, (765) 494-9879, before Jan. 29.
