Purdue offers ag economic information

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Economic instability, both in Indiana and abroad, has been a major focus of the past year for Hoosier farmers. To help farmers and others involved in agriculture make economic decisions, the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service has just released the latest version of the Purdue Agricultural Economics Report.

The current issue of The Purdue Agricultural Economics Report offers articles on these topics:

  • Crop Insurance Alternatives Expand.
  • Purdue's New Executive MBA in Food and Agricultural Business.

The Purdue Agricultural Economics Report is a quarterly newsletter published by the staff of the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue. The report is available on the Internet at http://www.agecon.purdue.edu/extensio/paer.htm as a "portable document folder" or pdf file and can be printed by using Adobe Acrobat Reader freeware.

The report is also available at Indiana Cooperative Extension Service offices.
