Purdue Extension honors Indiana Farm BureauWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. was honored Tuesday (11/17) with the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service Director's Award for its contributions and support of the educational mission of Extension."For decades, Farm Bureau has helped Extension take research and education to the people of Indiana in the 1,008 townships in this state," said Hank Wadsworth, director of Purdue Extension. Harry Pearson, president of Indiana Farm Bureau, accepted the award on behalf of the 272,000-member organization. "We are deeply appreciative of this honor. Indiana farmers have long relied on the expertise provided by the Extension Service," Pearson said. "We know this relationship will continue to benefit all of us in the future."
