Sign-up begins for continuing engineering classesWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Registration for Purdue University's spring Continuing Engineering Education classes begins Nov. 11.The 14 graduate-level classes will be taught at Purdue during the spring semester and broadcast via the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunications System to more than 100 industrial and public access sites in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and Wisconsin, as well as sites in Europe and Mexico. More than 500 engineers are expected to enroll. Engineers working in industry and continuing their education can register for the for-credit classes through Jan. 8. A $75 late fee will be applied to registrations received after Dec. 3. The spring courses will cover topics in civil, electrical and computer, industrial, mechanical and materials engineering, as well as mathematics and statistics.
