Bicyclist fondles 3 women on campusWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Three cases of sexual battery were reported to Purdue University Police on Sunday and Monday (10/25-26).All involved a man on a bicycle who rode up behind women students who were walking or jogging on campus. In each case, the man fondled the woman's breast as he rode past her. Ron Fosnaugh, captain of special services for the Purdue Police Department, said all three women described the attacker as a white male on a dark bike, either a 10-speed or a mountain bike. The first incident occurred at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, west of the Psychological Sciences Building. The victim described the man as six feet tall, 20 to 22 years old, weighing about 180 pounds, with medium brown hair. She said he was wearing a baseball cap, a dark windbreaker and blue jeans. The second incident occurred about 10 p.m. Sunday between the Student Health Center and the Heine Pharmacy Building. The woman, who didn't report the incident until Monday evening, said the man had on a black leather jacket and a dark baseball cap with a gold "P," worn backwards. The most recent battery occurred at 7:55 p.m. Monday, west of the Physics Building. The woman said the man had dark hair, was college-age, and was wearing a black leather jacket.
