Spirit posters available for men's, women's NCAA gamesWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Free Purdue University basketball spirit posters are available on campus to celebrate the success of the men's and women's basketball teams during the season and their participation in the NCAA tournament.The 11-inch-by 17-inch gold and black poster reads "Hoop It Up Purdue." "We wanted the fans to have the posters before Purdue's opening round games in Chicago and here in West Lafayette," said David Brannan, director of Purdue's Office of Publications. His staff designed the poster, which is sponsored by Boiler Backers. A limited number of the free posters will be available to fans between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. starting Friday (3/13) and next week at these campus locations: Mackey Arena; the Visitor Information Center, 504 Northwestern Ave.; the Office of Publications, South Campus Courts-D; and the Purdue Alumni Association office, Room 160, Memorial Union. The posters also will be available Saturday evening at the Athletic Public Relations Office, Room 15, Mackey Arena. The men will play the University of Delaware at 7:55 p.m. Friday (3/13) in the United Center, Chicago. The women play host to the University of Washington at 9 p.m. Saturday (3/14) in Mackey Arena.
