WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University Theatre hopes to brighten this dreary Indiana winter with its production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The play will be presented at 8 p.m. from Feb. 20 to Feb. 28 in the Loeb Playhouse, Stewart Center.
Seattle's Rita Giomi serves as guest director for the production, which also utilizes the talents of guest set and light designer Michael Philippi. Giomi directed last season's production of "The Taming of the Shrew." Philippi is back after having designed last season's Loeb production of "The Crucible."
Tickets are $8 for Purdue students and senior citizens and $12 for the public, available at the Loeb box office or by phone at (765) 494-3933.
