Bollhorst, a junior majoring in organizational leadership and supervision, is the son of George L. Bollhorst, 2156 Smoke Road, Valparaiso. Kuprewicz, a senior majoring in restaurant, hotel, institutional and tourism management, is the daughter of Alex and Bobbi Kuprewicz, 203 S. 18th St., Richmond.
The king contest is sponsored by the Purdue Student Athletic Board. The queen contest is sponsored by the Purdue Student Union Board.
The other king finalists were J.R. Arnott, a senior in the School of Agriculture from Monticello, Ind. ; Patrick Drewry, a senior in the School of Liberal Arts from Carmel, Ind. ; Jason Kester, a senior in the School of Consumer and Family Sciences from Grosse Pointe Park, Mich. ; and William O'Brien, a junior in the School of Science from Centerville, Ohio.
The queen finalists were Kimberly Becker, a senior in the School of Health Sciences from Newman, Ga. ; Nicole Gray, a senior in the School of Agriculture from Frankfort, Ind. ; Jill Hossenlopp, a senior in the School of Liberal Arts from Kokomo, Ind. ; and Megan Miller, a senior in the School of Liberal Arts from Indianapolis .
The king finalists were selected from a field of 20 candidates through a campuswide vote; the field of queen candidates numbered 25. The finalists were interviewed by a panel of judges. Voting results and judges' evaluations determined the winners.
