News clips on line at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The full text of Purdue University-related stories that have been published or broadcast by national news media are now available on the Internet.

The electronic news clips are available at the Purdue News Web site at www.purdue.edu/uns/ under the "Newsmakers" link. There you will find an index of the clips organized by month and then by school. Most of the clips in the index offer links that will take you to the full text of the news article. A searchable data base of the clips dating back to May also is provided.

In addition, more than 2,000 faculty and staff receive a summary of these clips once a month by e-mail. To receive the clip digest:

Send e-mail to listserv@vm.cc.purdue.edu.
Use a mail form with no text or graphics.
Leave the subject line blank. In the body, type "subscribe PU-NEWS" without the quotes.

Subscribers also will receive a weekly summary of news releases issued by the Purdue News Service and Agricultural Communication Service.
