WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue University is offering two sessions of an orientation seminar for new students age 23 and older -- one meets three mornings a week, the other one evening each week.

The one-credit course will introduce adult learners to Purdue when the fall semester starts Aug. 25. Student services, university regulations and campus resources will be discussed during the five-week course. Students also will be provided with information about improving study, time management, career planning and testing skills.

The seminar will meet at 9:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, or from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays. To register for the course, contact an academic adviser. More information about the course is available from Peggy E. Sullivan, assistant dean of students and director of the Span Plan Program, at (765) 494-1257.
