It will originate from the Purdue University campus in Room 268, Potter Engineering Building. Interested persons from the Lafayette area can watch the videoconference live in Potter.
The presenter will be Mary Pat Moeller, director of the Center for Childhood Deafness, Boys Town National Research Hospital, Omaha, Neb.
The presentation is free to all persons working with the communicatively handicapped and those interested in learning more about meeting the needs of hearing-impaired children.
The videoconference is sponsored by Psi Iota Xi sorority, a philanthropic and cultural organization with 147 chapters throughout the Midwest. Purdue University is approved to provide continuing education activities by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association.
