Purdue hosts Indiana High School Mock Trial contest

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Eighteen teams from 14 high schools across Indiana will compete in the state championship High School Mock Trial contest hosted by Purdue University Feb. 21-23.

Student teams compete by presenting a full trial based on a hypothetical case. The winner of the state competition will represent Indiana at the national championship in Nashville, Tenn., in May.

Cases will be heard at the Tippecanoe County Courthouse in Lafayette. Times for presentations are 6 p.m. Friday (2/21); 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday (2/22); and 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday (2/23).
