Indianapolis broadcasts continue for Purdue TV magazine

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Weekly broadcasts of "Purdue: A Closer Look," the weekly television magazine that focuses on people, programs, research and services at the university, continue on WFYI-TV 20, the Indianapolis Public Broadcasting Service affiliate.

Each half-hour program, which includes a campus news update, feature segments and a studio interview, is seen at 11:30 a.m. Sundays.

Program highlights through February for the Indianapolis broadcasts:

Feb. 2 -- The Purdue Research Park; personal and workplace safety; a remarkable recovery for a dog named Fred.

Feb. 9 -- Pharmacy's Anticoagulation Clinic; behavior modification and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder; the Master Gardener program.

Feb. 16 -- Purdue's statewide reach via the Cooperative Education Service; tips on the best place to stop first when visiting the West Lafayette campus; more on the Indiana Master Gardener Program.

Feb. 23 -- A new resource for sports horses and their owners; insights on war-torn Bosnia; on the road with the "All-American" Marching Band.

"Purdue: A Closer Look" is jointly produced by the Center for Instructional Services and the Office of University Relations. Program hosts are Beth Forbes, news coordinator at Purdue News Service, and Greg Zawisza, director of special projects at University Relations.
