102 Purdue Faculty Members Earn Promotions

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A total of 99 Purdue University faculty members on the West Lafayette campus have earned promotions, as have three faculty members in Purdue Statewide Technology.

Purdue's Board of Trustees on Friday (2/24) approved the promotions of 39 faculty members from associate professors to professors and 60 from assistant professors to associate professors at West Lafayette. Three were promoted from assistant professors to associate professors in Statewide Technology. That program, at 10 sites around Indiana, offers Purdue associate's and bachelor's degrees in technology.

The promotions will become effective at the beginning of the faculty members' regular terms of service for 1995-96.

The trustees met at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
