December 5, 2003 PMO Christmas Show reaches nationwide audiencesWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. 'Tis the Season for All the World is the theme of this year's Purdue Musical Organizations Christmas Show, which opens Dec. 12 for a six-show run at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music. Each year, thousands of students, alumni, families and friends of the university make the pilgrimage to see the show. In addition, countless television viewers and radio listeners see and hear the previous year's show electronically via public television and radio stations. "Alumni and friends can help PMO by calling their local PBS affiliate and requesting that they carry the show," said Julie Ricciardi, PMO assistant director and director of the PMO Club. "Each year stations decide whether they will upload the show. Once we learn who is going to air it, we will have a list on hand and on our Web site. Patrons may check with us or look at our Web site, and then check their local listings for exact times." The 2003 PMO Christmas Show will take the stage six times in three days in the Elliott Hall of Music: Friday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 13, at noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 14, at noon and 4 p.m. Tickets are $24 for adults and $17 for students and can be purchased at Purdue box offices by calling (765) 494-3933 or by calling the PMO office toll-free at (800) 893-3041.
